The King ruled the country which was divided in small areas ruled by a noble called Lord. Each kingdom had its own language, all similar to latin. People produced everything they needed so there wasn't much trade. They built religious buildings such as churches, cathedrals and monasteries. There were merchants that sold their products in the souk. They spoke arabic. Mosques, Alcazabas and the Alhambra were the most important buildings They were Muslims. Some people were Christians and Jewish but they weren't treated equally although they had some basics rights. Irrigated farming was very important.
