If you chose A: ❌ Canceling the class isn't mentioned! Benen describes a different situation. Listen carefully to the example. If you chose C: ❌ Changing the time isn't the request here. The request is about changing the FOCUS of the class. Listen again to what the student wants to prepare for!

If you chose B: ❌ The grammar is actually correct! Benen says "This is okay" but then explains why it's not enough. Listen to her reason. If you chose C: ❌ English speakers DO use "can" and "could" - but not for requests that are inconvenient. Benen explains that British people in particular care a lot about politeness in these situations.
