There are people who are very friendly in Christmas as it is , usually , good epoch to help others who feel , or even in these moments because they miss the family whereas we can find people who hate Christmas , who are all the time and they hate all the celebrations related to this festivity . An important part of Christmas Day is the Christmas dinner . They eat turkey , pigs in blankets , roast potatoes , stuffing , with gravy and cranberry sauce . For desert they eat traditional Christmas pudding with brandy sauce . Or mince pies with cream . Or trifle ! People decorate their dinner tables with crackers . Christmas Crackers are made of cardboard , two people have to pull the paper and the winner takes the small gift inside and a crown . Tom Smith , the owner of a candy store , established this tradition in London in 1847 .
