We are good friends . In class , we learn new words . We read short stories . We write simple sentences . We practice speaking and listening . We work in pairs and small . We play English games . Learning is fun . I like speaking English in class . At first , I was shy . Now I feel more confident . My English is getting better every week . I can understand more words . I can speak with more people . Last , our class went on an excursion to the zoo . I was very excited . It was my first visit to an Australian zoo . We saw kangaroos , koalas , lions , elephants , and many birds . My favourite was the koala . It was very cute . I took many photos . My classmates and I a wonderful day . We learned new English words about animals . I am happy to study at Swinburne TAFE . I enjoy every lesson . My teacher and classmates make me feel welcome . I want to my English every day .
