Even though I've never actually been there , it's always been one of the places at the top of my travel list . As far as I know , it's located in the northern part of the country . The city many historical landmarks , including the Temple of Literature , Hoan Kiem Lake , and the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum . On top of that , it's for the rich history , ancient architecture , and incredible street food . I first got to know the city through travel vlogs , documentaries , and social media . Whenever I have some free time , I enjoy watching travel vloggers explore different parts of Vietnam , and Ha Noi is one of the cities that appears most often . They don't just show the famous tourist attractions . They also wander through the narrow streets and try local from street vendors . Watching those videos almost makes me more curious about what the city would actually be like . The main reason I find Ha Noi so is that it seems completely different from Ho Chi Minh City , where I live . From the travel videos I've watched , I was by how slow and relaxed the pace of life appears to be . Instead of constantly rushing around , people seem to take their time and enjoy simple moments , like sitting at a roadside café with a cup of coffee . Another thing that attracts me is the city's old - world charm . Even though it's a modern capital , Ha Noi has preserved many ancient temples , French colonial buildings , and historic streets . I think that unique of history and modernity makes the city so special . So , even though I haven't had the chance to visit Ha Noi yet , I still think it's one of the most interesting cities in Vietnam . Hopefully , I'll be able to spend a few days there in the future because I'd love to experience everything I've only seen online with my own eyes .
