It ? s located at the mouth of the bay on a small island near our home . I always go there on school holidays . Though no one has ever admitted it , I ? m sure many of my friends envy mefor spending my holidays at such a ( 1 ) lighthouse . It ? s not a very ( 2 ) tall building , but it looks stunningly for standing alone on the cliff . Even though it was built in the 1800s , it still looks strong . In fact , it ( 3 ) elegant and ( 4 ) different from other newer lighthouses . As you get inside the place , you will see a flight of ( 5 ) , spiraling stairs that goes up and up . The handrail is made of oak wood . It ( 6 ) ( 7 ) to the touch . The first time I climbed the entire 30 meters of the stairs , I felt ( 8 ) . But it was worth the effort . When I look out of the ceiling - to - floor window around the tower , I can see ( 9 ) view beneath the clear blue sky . I can almost ( 10 ) smell the tangy , salty of the water as I watch the seagulls gliding through the air . They sometimes ( 11 ) sounded very ( 12 ) . I really enjoy being in this place . I can spend hours there .
