Part 1

Yesterday afternoon , I ( walk ) home from work because the weather was beautiful . The sun ( shine ) , and a light wind ( blow ) through the trees . While I ( cross ) the park near my house , I ( see ) a little boy sitting alone on a bench . He ( look ) nervous , and he ( hold ) a small piece of paper in his hand . I ( stop ) and ( ask ) him if he was okay . He ( tell ) me that he ( look ) for his mother .

I stayed with him because he looked very scared . I was talking to him , I looked around the park to see if anyone was searching for him . , we heard a woman shouting a child ? s name . the boy heard the voice , he stood up quickly and looked excited . At that , a woman ran toward us from the other side of the park . She looked , but then she smiled with relief . , she hugged the boy tightly and thanked me for staying with him . , everything was okay , and I continued my walk home feeling happy .

As I was ( leave ) the park , I ( feel ) proud because I ( help ) someone in a difficult moment . The boy and his mother were ( walk ) away together while they were ( talk ) quietly . I ( think ) about the situation all evening because it ( remind ) me how important it is to help others .
