We had this really dumb disagreement last night . We were just talking about holiday plans for the summer , so nothing major . I mentioned I was thinking about that camping trip we talked about ages ago . He seemed keen , said he was up for it we could avoid going during the school holidays because of the crowds . Then somehow , we got onto the topic of his new girlfriend possibly coming along . this : me , trying to gently say maybe it'd be better just us guys for the first big trip in ages , you know ? Just like old times . , he took that completely the wrong way . He thought I was criticising her or didn't like her . just saying , " Oh , okay , I see your point , " he got really defensive . he's just super sensitive about her ? right now , we haven't texted today , which is weird for us . I bad about it , even though I don't think I said anything that terrible . Maybe my tone was off ? It's rubbish when a simple conversation goes sideways like that . , we ended up just sort of shutting down the conversation awkwardly . Hopefully , it blows over quick ; having bad vibes with my best mate is just a bummer .
