The damage is positioned along the sidewall and will require the tire to be replaced. 3 The photo shows damage that is consistent with impact with a pothole. This will require the tire to be replaced. 4 The photo shows 4 tires that all have normal and more than normal wear and tear to include weathering. Weathering indicators are fine cracks in the sidewall and in between the tread blocks. The tires pictured require immediate replacement. NSD does not cover normal wear and tear. 5 The photo shows cosmetic damage due to curb impact to the sidewall of the tire. This has also caused cosmetic damage to the outer lip of the wheel. NSD does not cover cosmetic damage to the tire however if the tire has become unserviceable due to curb impact, the policyholder will be covered if they have curb coverage listed.
