These are almost always a scam, and they will often try to install malware on your computer or phish for more information. Whether using computers found in internet cafés and libraries, there can be a number of risks if you do not take proper care. Review what online information exists about you and keep it to a minimum! Don’t leave your computer, smartphone or tablet unattended. Consider changing any passwords you may have used once you get back home. Ensure you have effective and updated antivirus/antispyware software and firewall running on all of your devices! The more people that know your password, the more likely your account(s) will be compromised!
