Is a series of events in which one organism eats another and obtains energy. Eat the first level consumers. A food chain shows only one possible path along which energy can move through an ecosystem. They consume the wastes and remains of other organisms. Eat the second level consumers. Form the base of the food web. The first organism in a food chain is always this one.
