It goes through the inside of the spine and it is protected by the vertebrae. They transmit responses from the central nervous system to the muscles and glands of the body. which is inside the skull. It has three main parts: the cerebrum, the cerebellum and the brain stem. which is formed by nerve centres that interpret the information and develop responses. It is divided between the brain and the spinal cord.
