It goes through the inside of the spine and it is protected by the vertebrae. They transmit responses from the central nervous system to the muscles and glands of the body. They transmit information from the sensory organs and internal organs to the central nervous system. The brain The spinal cord which is formed by nerve centres that interpret the information and develop responses. It is divided between the brain and the spinal cord. which is formed by nerves that transmit the information.
