Explanation

A term is another word for semester. Semester is more commonly used in American English. A semester can be of different length, but as a general rule around 15 weeks.

Finding a good spot for studying is important! Some like it really quiet, some like background noise and some like to listen to music. A good set of earphones may be a good study aid to block sounds out.

Multi-tasking can sometimes put a lot more stress on you than it's really worth. Focusing on one thing at the time usually make you more efficient.

Good quality tools make it easier to do a good job, wether it is building a house or writing notes. It is also more fun to write with a nice pen, and using different colours makes it easier to remember your notes. Also, having a good notebook or binder keeps your work organized.

It's really important marking your stuff so you can get them back if you loan them out, or if you accidentally leave them behind. Write your name in your notebooks and on your course books, so you don't end up without them before a test!
