Asks why something occurs and tries to answer that question through observations and experiments Set of steps used to design a solution to a problem We did this by eating the ice cream AND examined the consistency of the ice cream using our spoon and feeling the texture of the ice cream in the baggie We learned about the chemistry of making ice cream We did this by making the ice cream using our mixing method
