Choose the sentence that uses Present Simple CORRECTLY

Explicación

"She" is third person singular (he/she/it). In Present Simple, we always add -S or -ES to the verb. drink → drinks. Remember: I/You/We/They + verb base. He/She/It + verb+s

For negatives: I/You/We/They + DON'T + verb base. He/She/It + DOESN'T + verb base. "She don't" and "They doesn't" are always wrong — never mix them up!

"Your brothers" = They = plural → use DO. After DO/DOES the verb always goes in base form, no -S. "Does he plays" is wrong → correct form: "Does he play?"

"My dog" = It = third person singular → verb + S. This is a habitual action (every time), which confirms we use Present Simple. bark → barks.

"The students" = They = plural → NO -S on the verb. finish stays as finish. Only he/she/it gets the -S ending. Also, "to finish" is an infinitive, not a conjugated form.

Present Simple is used for facts and general truths that are always true. "The sun rises in the east" is a scientific fact → Present Simple. The other options use continuous, past, and future forms.

"My sister" = She = third person singular → verb + S. practice → practices. Note: verbs ending in -ce also just add -S, not -ES. "Three times a week" confirms it's a routine = Present Simple

Option D is correct: "Our professor" = He/She → arrives ✅ (verb+S) + "always" = frequency adverb = Present Simple habit. All other options mix up DO/DOES or forget the -S rule.
