Writing needs to be TAUGHT and LEARNT. The idea of an audience generates contact. The reader can go over it as many times as wanted. The writer and the reader do not have contact in time and space. Never repeat anybody else’s ideas or words without acknowledgment. Use of topic sentences, paragraphs, units, conventional rules of grammar, formal and precise vocabulary. Something cannot be changed once it is written. It should be clear because immediate feedback is not possible.
