I grew up here in Coyoacán. This house was my home all my life.

I enjoyed school, but I did not study art at that time. I studied science.

I suffered a very serious accident. It changed my body and my future.

Yes, I started painting in bed. My mother gave me brushes and a mirror.

I used bright colors, flowers, and symbols from Mexican traditions.
