Key organs include the nose, pharynx, larynx, trachea, bronchi, lungs, and the diaphragm, all coordinating air movement and protection.

The nasal cavity filters, warms, and humidifies air using hairs, mucus, and rich blood supply before it reaches the lungs.

The larynx, or voice box, protects the airway, houses vocal cords, and regulates airflow during breathing and speaking.

The trachea, or windpipe, conducts air to the bronchi and is supported by C-shaped cartilage rings for flexibility and protection.
