Objective:
Students will review and practice vocabulary about daily life and the city (e.g., wake up, easier, happen, skyscraper, downtown).

Give each student or pair a copy of the crossword.
Read the clues together or let students read them quietly.
Students fill in the crossword using the correct words.
When everyone finishes, check the answers together as a class.
Optional: Ask students to make one new clue for each word!
Example clues:

You do this in the morning when you stop sleeping. → Wake up
A very tall building in a city. → Skyscraper
The main part of a city with many shops and offices. → Downtown
