Feedback

All living things can be broadly classified into plants and animals.

In the case of living things, both the young and the adult eat the same type of food and live in in the same type of place. Both of them need to reproduce in order for their own kind to survive. The adult and the young of a living organism need not always look the same. As they grow older, their appearances also change. This can be seen in tadpoles and frogs.

The living thing that Ali saw is getting food from the decaying log. It does not have any green parts and produces spores. They are all characteristics of a fungus.

Living things reproduce to ensure the continuity of their kind. That is, they reproduce young to increase their numbers so that their kind can survive. Much like how our parents gave birth to us and how cats give births to kittens.

All the options except fire, wind and rain consist of living things. They cannot reproduce, move on their own or respond to their surroundings. Plants, animals and Fungi are all living things. They can reproduce, grow, move on their own and respond to their surroundings.

Air, food and water are the most important factors of the survival of living things. No living being can survive without these three things. All living things can grow, reproduce and move by themselves.
