The verb "to be" in the simple past tense has two forms: "was" and "were." "Was" is used with the pronouns "I," "he," "she," and "it," while "were" is used with "you," "we," "they," and "you" (plural).

The third person singular personal pronouns are "he", "she", and "it"

The basic structure for forming interrogative questions in English with the verb "to be" is the verb "to be" + subject + object. This means that the verb "to be" (am, is, are, was, were) is placed at the beginning of the sentence, followed by the subject, and then the object that completes the question.

Synonyms are words that have similar meanings or convey the same idea. They can often be used interchangeably in sentences without significantly changing the overall meaning. For example, the words "happy" and "joyful" are synonyms because they both express a similar emotion.

It is used to describe actions that are happening at the moment of speaking or that are temporary in nature. Its structure is: Subject + verb "to be" (am/is/are) + verb in -ing.

In the third person singular (he, she, it), the verb usually adds an "-s" or "-es" at the end. Examples: He works, She goes, It watches.

The simple past tense of the verb "eat" is "ate." The past participle is "eaten."

We have two answers: went and took, both are irregular verbs.
