Introduction to Time

Welcome to our lesson on time! In this slide, we will learn about:

What time is
Why we measure time
Different ways to tell time

What is a Clock?

A clock is a tool that helps us know the time. There are two main types of clocks:

Analog Clocks - with hands that move around a face
Digital Clocks - that show numbers

Reading an Analog Clock

To read an analog clock, follow these steps:

Look at the hour hand (short hand)
Look at the minute hand (long hand)
Combine both to tell the time!
