The hotel was enormous, but nothing seemed to run properly. 2 The floor of the room was covered by a filthy carpet, which was probably the main source of the bad smell. There were also ants crawling out of that carpet and it was truly disgusting. 3 The driver was dangerous and drunk – we came incredibly close to being in several accidents. He couldn’t drive in a straight line; we tried to talk to him so we could get a different taxi. 4 One of my most frustrating travel experiences came on a Thanksgiving trip. Traffic was heavy, but moving. Then it stopped. We were trapped in a line of cars that barely moved. 5 I was pickpocketed that morning on a train and had to spend half of my last day in Greece at the police station (which was also a HUGE waste of time). 6 When I am on holiday, I Iike to go where the food is good, so I can never go to Mexico because I find the food repellent - my daughter loves it but I find it disgusting.
