This is a typical day in the life of the Cadets of the Philippine Merchant Marine Academy ( PMMA ) , from reveille to TAPS , we go through the whole daily routine and show the unique training style of PMMA , which many maritime schools in the Philippines try so hard to copy .

It's early in the morning , the quarterdeck ( e . g . ) 1 . At the sound of the three - whistle blast , the cadets wake up from their sleep . They have five minutes 2 , perform personal necessities , and shift in their athletic uniforms .
