Mixed Transcortical Aphasia
lesionsin the basal ganglia and thalamus are linked to subcortival aphasia in the left hemisphere
caused by lesions in the region between Broa's and Wernicke's area in the supramarginal gyrus and arcuate fasciculous
caused by lesions in temporpoparietal region of the brain in the posterior protion of the midddle temporal gyrus
Transocrtical Sensory apahasia
caused by lesion in the watershed area; middle cerebral aretery and anterior posterior arteries
Conduction aphasia
subcortical aphasia
cused by lesions in the angulary gyrus, temporal gyrsu and temporoparietal lobes
Anomic aphasia
Broca's Aphasia
Wernicke's aphasia
caused by lesions in the posterior portion of the superior temporal gyrus
