Copper and tin

Al

They are considered malleable and ductile.

Ti

It is ductile and it is malleable when heated.

Copper and zinc

It is harder than any of its metal ingredients.

Small amounts of other metals are added to it to make harder alloys for most uses.

It has been used since prehistoric times to forge tools, weapons, statues and ornaments.

It acquires a protective patina that is copper carbonate formed on the surface of the metal when hydrogen sulfide combines with oxygen or sulfur dioxide.

Resistant to corrosion and attack by most chemicals.

They are valued for their ease with which it can be formed into desired shapes and forms while retaining high strength.

It is insoluble in water, but soluble in concentrated acids.

It is extremely strong and resistant to atmospheric corrosion.

Cu

It is as strong as steel.

At high temperatures the metal will burn in air and, unusually, it will also burn in pure nitrogen.
