How should you set up the classroom when you arrive? a Pull out the chairs. b Pull out the activity supplies from the cabinets. c No set up is needed. Chairs, crayons & coloring sheets are set out. 2 How do you know what activities to do with the kids on Sundays? a Make some games up ahead of time so you have something to do. b The activities are all planned out and emailed to you ahead of time. They will be sitting on the classroom counter when you arrive Sunday. c Bring in some crafts from home. 3 Where can you find the supplies needed for the activities? a The rooms are full of supplies, look around until you find what you need. b Ask someone on staff to give them to you. c All supplies are set out on the counter next to the activity sheets. 4 Where can you find general supplies that are not specific to the curriculum activities, like hand sanitizer, adult scissors, or a permanent marker? a Look in the LFC Sunday School Cabinet above the counters. b Look though the drawers. The preschool probably has what you need there. c Make do without the supplies. 5 What should you do if someone needs a diaper change? (2 answers) Choose one or more answers a The service is only an hour, let a parent change them when they get home. b Use the diapers from the open shelves above the changing table in the classrooms to change the child immediately. c Look for the child's diaper bag first, if they don't have one, use the diaper supplies in the cabinet marked LFC Sunday School Cabinet and change them immediately. d Only adult heroes, 18 and over, can change diapers. 6 Where is the Bible story told? a Each room has a TV. The story is already in the dvd player - just press play. b The story is written out on the activity sheets. Read it to the kids. c There is no story - just activities. 7 What is the goal for heroes on Sunday mornings? Choose one or more answers a Build relationships with the kids. b Teach the kids to love like Jesus. c Give parents the time to refill their spiritual cups. Feedback 1 Chairs, crayons, and coloring pages are set out ahead of time so kids can jump into an activity as soon as they arrive. 2 It is very IMPORTANT to read the curriculum ahead of time so that the activities run smoothly and their is no lapse in time while you read the directions. 4 We never want you to be without the supplies you need, however, we share the rooms with the weekday preschool so please only use the supplies we have set out for you or those you find in the cabinet marked LFC - Sunday School Cabinet. If you run out of supplies, there are extra heroes, called coaches, that monitor the halls and help fill any needs that classroom heroes have. 5 Per LFC guidelines, an ADULT hero must be the one to change the diaper. Always use the supplies from the LFC Sunday School Cabinet, not those in the classroom, as those belong to the preschool. 7 Sundays in Kidtropolis couldn't happen without you - THANK YOU for being a hero in so many ways!
