My Crazy Family

I know that everyone thinks their family is crazy, but mine really is. My name is Marco and I am your typical teenager.  If you met me you would think that I have a normal family, but you would be wrong. To begin with, my biological parents are divorced so I really have four parents.

My mom’s name is Janet and she is a middle-aged, heavyset, cute woman who is married to my step father, John. John is a young and thin professional soccer player for our country.  They together have a child, her name is Katie and she is my half-sister. The reason I think this part of my family is crazy is because my mom and John are so opposite and their favorite think to do together is play monopoly. They have big parties every Friday night and invite all my aunts, uncles, cousins, and grandparents to have a big game in monopoly.

Then there is my dad family. My dad is named Carlos and he is tall middle-aged man who is deaf. My dad also remarried just like my mom. He married an elderly woman named Suzanne who is blind. On that side of my family I also have a step-brother and step-sister because Suzanne has two children. Their names are Maria and Tony and they are already young adults. This side of my family is creasy because they love cats. When I say they love cats, I mean they are obsessed. We have 15 cats in our house and everything in our house is decorated with pictures of cats.

So that is my family. They are crazy but I love them.

Step father - the husband of someone's mother after the death or divorce of his or her real father.

Half-sister - a sister related through one parent only

Aunt - the sister of one's father or mother or the wife of one's uncle.

Uncle- the brother of one's father or mother, the husband of one's aunt

Step-brother - one's stepfather's son or stepmother's son by a previous marriage.

Step-sister - one's stepfather's daughter or stepmother's daughter by a previous marriage.

Heavyset - Someone who has a large, wide, strong body

Obsessed- If someone is obsessed with a person or thing, they keep thinking about them and find it difficult to think about anything else.

Divorced - no longer married because the marriage has been legally broken up.
