I just got back home to Ohio . And I think I have just had the best holiday of my life . I did a 3 week tour the UK . Traveling around the country by couch and staying in hotels and bed and breakfasts in more than ten different towns . It was , as soon as , I got off the plane in Heathrow ; I couldn ? t believe the number of different accents and foreign I was . London is so cosmopolitan . I stayed there for a few days and the typical tours , you know Buckingham palace , Big Ben and all that , but you know what I most ? Shopping in Harrods . I have never anything like that place before . After London , we stayed in Cambridge for a day or two to look at the university and other buildings then we got on the again to go to Wales which has a capital city . What is its name again ? Cardiff , that´s right ! The next stop was Stratford - upon - Avon , where we visited Shakespeare´s house and after that we went after Liverpool to see The Beatles museum . I love the people in the city . They were so sincere and their was so sweet . We also had the opportunity to the city of York with its beautiful historical and the mountains and countryside in the camp of Yorkshire with wonderful tour . After that , I was back to London and home again . The only thing the British don´t have a lot is nice beaches and good , but that´s not a big because we don´t in my part of the States and do you know what ? I ´ve already my ticket for another tour next year , this time is Ireland and Scotlan d
