When a material has a high density we say it is , such as steel . On the contrary , when it has a low density we say it is , such as cork .
When a material is difficult to be scratched or penetrated , we say it is , such as oak wood or steel . But when it's easy to be scratched , it is , like clay or pine wood .
When a material has a high elasticity we say it is or flexible , such as ; otherwise , we say it is ( it deforms very little when we apply a force ) , like glass .
When a material undergoes a deformation we say it has plasticity , it is a material , such as clay or metals .
When a material resists hits without breaking we say it is a tough or material , such as steel or most woods . On the contrary , when a material breaks when we hit it , we say it is , like glass or porcelain .
When a material transmits electricity , heat or sound , we say it is a good , such as silver or copper ; if not , we say it is a bad conductor or an , like plastics or wood .
When a material lets the water or other liquids pass through it , we say it is , such as cotton or wood ; otherwise , we say it is , like plastics or glass .
When a material lets all the light pass through it , so we can clearly see through it , we say it is ; when the material lets some light pass through it , so we can see a bit through it , we say it is ; and when the material doesn't let any light pass through it , we say it is .
