How is the whether today?
This activity is usefull to work the weather content, explicit in the curriculum (Decreto 54/2014) as an essential vobulary for the 2nd grade Primary students.
In fact, we decided to practise this content in a visual way because, according to the curriculum, one of the standards of evaluation is the following: "Understanding of the main ideas of simple presentations that are accompanied by images on familiar topics: (...) weather". An those are the objectives that we want to achieve.
The activity PROCEDURES are the followings: Students are given vocabulary (about the weather) words and pictures that represent those words and they have to match them correctly (pictures and words).
This is the way to check that they understand its meaning and that they are able to relate this words to elements of their own reality.
