The first 4 paragraphs of this part of the reading, talk about how does the law work, which it means to give a short description about this law

We are all responsible for preventing, stopping, supervising and monitoring all cases of violence and bullying (matoneo) in all its expressions, because this is a scourge that silently affects a large number of Colombian students, is our duty to denounce and correct this type of behavior.

With regard to the national system of school coexistence, created through Law 1620 and whose purpose is to educate generations that are immersed in the role of active citizens, that is, democratic beings, with the capacity to build their life project, it is necessary create an instance whose purpose is to promote harmony and coexistence within the educational institution. That's when the committee of school coexistence was born.

Many families think that the stronger their son is to his friends the better he will be in life. That is why they allow negative behaviors, in which oppressing, harassing and offending their friends is something positive for their parents, having in the end, odious results.

This negative behavior has been present in the education system. However, with the advance in computer technology, now, it is no longer necessary to attack another person directly but through social networks.
