Google's incubator Area 120 is at it again with a new to help you find activities . The tool , called Touring Bird , is a designed for mobile that lists tours , attractions , and to do in popular travel . You can by price from zero to over $500 , time of day , duration , and even by cancellation policies , which sounds convenient .
So far , the site only provides for a handful of destinations , including Prague , Toronto , Orlando , Chicago , and Amsterdam . It looks like it's North America and Europe - centric so far . It's also only in English , so tourists who prefer other won't find much utility from this site .
If you click on cities like Paris or New York , you'll see the top three at the very top that any tourist would likely already be of without Touring Bird's help . But once you scroll further , you'll find tips that even some locals might not know about , which Google says are curated by a team of . ( How many New Yorkers already knew you can law for free by sitting in on criminal court hearings ? )
One of the main benefits of using this site also appears to be getting easy to every tour and attraction's cancellation policy , which are typically buried in the fine print or a phone call to figure out . With the emphasis on free activities , the site feels like a complimentary tool to using Hopper to find flights and Kayak to find .
