The Earth is the third planet from The Sun. Like all planets in the Solar System, the Earth orbits around the Sun.

Earth is the largest of the four terrestrial planets, the other terrestrial planets being Mercury, Venus, and Mars. Earth is the only planet that we know of that contains life.

The Earth is  the planet where we live.

Why does the Earth have life on it?

●The presence of water.

●  An atmosphere.

● Light and heat from the Sun.

Some of the characteristics of the Earth are:

- It’s round.

- We can find a large quantity of water on it. This makes the Earth look blue. For this reason is called  the “Blue Planet”.
