Queismo y dequeismo

This question makes no sense either: "Date cuenta ____ que al verbo no se le puede quitar nunca su preposición." Apparently the correct answer is "de que" but that does not make sense because "que" comes after the blank.

I should say this is the incorrect question, since the questions can appear in any order: "Mi intención es que participemos todos"
