George
Hi, Mom! We learned something today. Can we share it with you?
Mom
Of course, George! What did you learn?
Nathan
We learned that Jesus was really good at talking to people. He didn’t always talk about what He wanted, but He listened to what others were thinking.
George
Yes! Jesus was flexible. That means He would talk about things that others liked, not just what He wanted.
Mom
That’s great! Can you tell me how Jesus was flexible?
Nathan
Well, Jesus didn’t always start a conversation with what He wanted to say. He would listen and talk about what other people were thinking about. Like, if someone was talking about their dog, Jesus might say, “Wow, Jehovah made dogs!”
George
Exactly! And that made people happy. When we talk about things our friends like, we can also share good things about Jehovah.
Mom
That sounds wonderful! Can you show me how you would talk to a friend, Nathan?
Nathan
Sure! If my friend is talking about a new toy, I could say, “That’s cool! Jehovah made toys so we can be happy!”
Mom
I love that! You’re listening to what your friend is talking about, and then sharing something nice about Jehovah.
George
And I can do it, too! If my friend is talking about a game, I could say, “Jehovah made games so we can have fun together!”
Mom
That’s a perfect example, George! You both are learning how to talk to people, just like Jesus did. You’re flexible, listening to what others say, and then sharing good things about Jehovah.
Nathan
Yeah! And we don’t always have to start talking about the Bible or what we want to say. We can start with what others are talking about.
Mom
Exactly! Jesus helped people feel happy and listened to them. You both are doing a great job at that. Keep practicing, and you’ll make others happy just like Jesus did!
George
I can’t wait to share good things with my friends, like how Jehovah made animals and toys!
Nathan
Me too! I’m going to tell them how Jehovah made the world!
Mom
I’m so proud of you both! Keep sharing good things with your friends, and you’ll help them learn about Jehovah, too.
