Student "Woo!! That's so cool" The class said as they talked amongst each other. Teacher *Teaches lesson* "Well now that you guys are well taught why don't you give me three examples of how psychology benefits society and improves people's lives." Student "Okay well, one example may be how a teacher can be taught to use new teaching techniques in her classroom so she can help different kids succeed in different ways" Student#1 blurted out. Student "Oh! Another example can be how some doctors study people and how their surrounding can effect their health or how their health can effect their emotions" Student #2 shouted out. Student "Ooo, Would another example be.. let's say that Benny notices how Julisa changes her behavior around her different groups of friends" Student #3 questioned. Teacher "Yes those are all correct, but can someone tell me what subfields relate to those examples?" The teacher paced around the room. Student "Well the first example was clearly Education Psychology because it has to do with theories and techniques about teaching and learning" Student #4 said proudly Student "The second one is Health psychology because it talks about social and psychological factors that effect health and the last one is social psychology because Benny focused on how Julisa acted differently around her other groups of friends" Student #5 concluded. Teacher "Very good student.
