It also prompts critical thinking with the problems around diagnosis and making assumptions, particulary in the community. por Clarie Miles 1 Reactive stress 2 Eating Disorders 3 Moderate to severe anxiety and depression (including PTSD, OCD, GAD, Health Anxiety) 4 Emotionally Unstable Personality Disorder (EUPD)/ Borderline personality disorder (BPD)/ post trauma syndrome/ Emotional Intensity Disorder (EID) 5 Severe and enduring mental disorders (e.g. bi-polar disorder, psychosis) 6 Mild to moderate anxiety (including worrying, panic attacks) or depression all symptoms of mild to moderate but lasting longer or more severe. May not have sought help before May disclose thoughts of suicide or self-harm low mood/ high anxiety Withdrawal & avoidance Impacts life activities Lasts 3+ months Can be following a life event but with a feeling of ‘stuckness’ behaviors may be hidden. You may notice under/ overweight, avoidance of eating in public, or have family members report concerns. Occasional tiredness, irritability, withdrawn from activities After life event (e.g. job or marriage difficulties/ birth) Comes & goes, lasts weeks Symptoms of moderate to severe plus: Significant disruption to thinking/ talking/ acting. May have distinct episodes. Often medication is required symptoms of other disorders plus Self-harming or other risky behaviours Difficulty maintaining relationships
