MID TEENS - FUTURE FORMS Versión en línea

In this test you will have to choose the correct form of the verb to complete each sentence. Once you're finished, you can see automated feedback!

por Alexia Langhoff
1

I live in Puerto Vallarta in Mexico. This weekend ____ on a school trip to Banderas Bay.

2

So this time tomorrow, ____ the wild dolphins there!

3

I’m sure ____ really exciting.

4

On the Saturday morning, our Biology teacher ____ us a talk.

5

Then, ____ out on a boat.

Explicación

This is an arranged future event, so we ought to use the present continuous.

In this case, not only are we talking about an action that will be in progress at a point in the future but we also have a time phrase! (This time tomorrow'). Double the reason to use the future continuous.

'I'm sure...' is a prediction! Remember to always use the 'will' form with them.

Again, an arranged future event, so we use the present continuous. Remember to only use the present simple for timetables and tightly scheduled events.

Here, we are expressing certainty. Because of this, we use is the 'will' form.
