Uses - Prepositions tell us where something is or when something happened. -Prepositions indicate relationships between words in a sentence. 2 prepositions of time -They are used to indicate when something happened, happens or will happen. Examples: I traveled to London in 2019. It´s always cold in March. We went to the beach in summer. The Second World War occurred in the 20th century. We will go to Melgar in July. 3 Preposition of time : ON, AT ON: For days, dates and specific holiday days Examples: - We go to the park on Sundays. - Christmas is on December 25 th. - I will go shopping on my birthday. - My birthday is on March 19 th. AT: For specific time, specific hours, and indicators of festivals Examples -I study at night. -School hours end at 2:00 pm. 4 Other preposition of time OTHER PREPOSITIONS OF TIME: During, about, around, until, now, throughout. Examples: I learned how to skate during the vacations.
