A milling machine cuts a circular work pieces out of the aluminium sheet.
The work piece is then detached from the lathe.
Large pieces of aluminium are rolled into thin sheets three meters wide.
A drill cuts holes in the side of the work piece for handles.
The centre of a work piece is attached to a lathe shaped like the bottom of a saucepan. The lathe spins.
A plastic wheel pushes the edge of the work piece along the lathe's side into the shape of a saucepan.
After shaping, a cutter attached to the lathe trims sharp edges from the top of the work piece.
A joining machine attaches handles to the work piece using rivets.
The finished saucepan may be selected for quality control testing.
The saucepan is placed on a polishing machine and its outside surface is polished.
The saucepan is packaged and is ready for sale to a client.
