Sensory nerves Motor nerves They transmit responses from the central nervous system to the muscles and glands of the body. which is formed by nerve centres that interpret the information and develop responses. It is divided between the brain and the spinal cord. The brain The spinal cord which is formed by nerves that transmit the information. Both the central and the peripheral nervous system are made up of specialised cells They transmit information from the sensory organs and internal organs to the central nervous system.
