We are tasked with trying to design & build a mousetrap car that can travel 1 tile in the hallway as fast as possible

What we are doing in this project...Improving upon a mousetrap car design.

Stepwise process used to innovate a mousetrap car design by using scientific knowledge

Perform experiments on mousetrap cars AND learn science concepts around mousetrap cars to understand how they work

Stepwise process used to research how or why mousetrap cars work AND the science concepts behind them

Take my mousetrap car design, go in the hallway, wind it up, and let the car go to see how it performs

Come up with an idea for a mousetrap car design that will travel 1 tile in the hallway as fast as possible AND then draw a labeled diagram of that idea (prototype)

Watch the mousetrap car that I have designed AND look for areas where it can be improved
