The biosphere is made up of the parts of Earth where life exists.
A large layer of gases surrounds the Earth. It extends up to 800 km height. Nitrogen and oxygen are the main gases.
The solid land. Part of it is under the oceans and the other part is above. It forms the continents and the islands. It covers a quarter of the Earth’s surface.
The oceans, seas, rivers, lakes and ice. It covers three quarters of the Earth’s surface. Is also called liquid sphere.
