Led by one leader. Controlled by one leader. Such as a dictatorship

Oligarchy

Citizens vote on people that they send to the government to stand up for their ideals. The United States is an example of this

Constitutional Monarchy

People vote on every law and rule themselves, not through someone else

Led by a king or a queen, but their power is limited by a document and often other ruling bodies

Representative Democracy

Absolute Monarchy

Led by a small group of leaders. Typically not elected

Direct Democracy

Type of government for which the King or Queen have total control and power
